Geta.Team Is Now Free: One AI Employee, 100 Credits a Day, No Credit Card

Starting today, you can hire an AI employee at Geta.Team for nothing. One employee, 100 credits every day, no credit card, no trial countdown, no sales call.

We have wanted to do this for a while. The most common thing people say after a demo is a version of "I get it, but I need to see it working on my own stuff." Fair. An AI coworker is difficult to evaluate from a feature list, because the whole point is what happens on day five, when it already knows how you work. So here is the honest answer to that: go try it, on us.

What you actually get

Not a chatbot with a countdown timer. A real employee.

You pick a role, give them a name, and they show up with a personality, a memory, and the ability to do work. Your free employee can hold a conversation, run tasks on their own, keep a kanban board of what they are doing, read and write documents, build images, and browse the web.

They can also work your actual inbox. Connect Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Office 365, or a business domain on Google, and your employee reads, drafts, and sends from the address you already use. Google Calendar, Drive, and Telegram connect too.

The part that surprises most people is the skills. If your employee cannot do something yet, you ask them to learn it, and they build the capability themselves. That is not a paid add-on. It works on the free tier exactly the way it works everywhere else, because it is the single most important thing about the product.

Memory works too, and it is the reason we suggest giving this more than an afternoon. Your employee remembers your preferences, your projects, the way you like things phrased, the client who always needs a follow-up on Thursdays. On day one it is a capable assistant. By the end of the second week it is a colleague who stopped needing to be told.

Update, August 12: webhooks are now included as well, one per employee. Enough people asked that we changed our minds two days after launch. That means your free employee can be triggered by the outside world: a form submission, a deploy, a cron job, an alert from another system.

About those 100 credits

You get 100 credits a day, refreshed every day. No accumulation, no penalty for a quiet week, no meter running while you think about it.

In practice that is a genuine working session. Drafting, research, document work, a batch of automated tasks, a real back and forth on something you care about. It is enough to find out whether this changes your week, which is the only question worth answering.

If you invite people who join, you earn bonus credits on top. Those stack separately and stay available, so a bit of enthusiasm goes a long way.

What is not in the free tier

We would rather tell you now than let you discover it later.

The free tier does not include a dedicated email address for your employee, published websites, voice calls, Nova, AI Team delegation, the desktop app, importing or exporting employees, team sharing, heartbeat, the website widget, or tags. It is also one employee per account.

To be precise about the email one, since it matters: your free employee does not get their own address that other people can write to directly. They can absolutely work inside your existing mailboxes, as described above. What they do not have yet is an identity in the outside world of their own.

There is a logic to the rest of the list too. Almost everything on it is either a capability that reaches into the world under your company's name, like a dedicated inbox, a phone number, or a live website, or a capability that only makes sense at team scale, like sharing employees and delegating work between them. Those belong to accounts with their own instance and their own infrastructure behind them.

What we deliberately kept in is everything that lets you judge the actual product: the employee, the memory, the autonomy, and the ability to create new skills on demand. Nothing about the free tier is designed to frustrate you into upgrading. It is designed to let you find out.

Who this is for

The founder who keeps hearing about AI employees and wants to see one work before forming an opinion.

The freelancer or small business owner who does not have a team and cannot justify a subscription to find out if this helps.

The developer who wants to poke at it properly, ask an employee to build a skill from scratch, and see what actually happens rather than reading about it.

And honestly, the skeptic. If you think this category is overhyped, the free tier is the cheapest possible way to be proven right. We are comfortable with that trade.

When you outgrow it

If it works for you, the next step is your own instance, where the full feature set opens up: multiple employees, dedicated email addresses and phone numbers of their own, team sharing, delegation between employees, the desktop app, and the rest.

That is also where our pricing model makes sense. Geta.Team runs on Bring Your Own API keys, meaning you connect your own provider account and pay the provider directly at your own rate. Fixed licensing, transparent usage, no margin quietly stacked on your tokens. Self-hosting stays available for anyone who wants their data to never leave their infrastructure.

The free tier is a different shape by design. It runs on our shared instance with a model we provide, so you do not need an API key or a card to get started. It is the front door, not a stripped version of the house.
