v2.7.14: Referral Bonuses That Actually Arrive, and a Safer Workspace for Every Employee
The free tier went live yesterday. This release is the first response to it, and it is a short one. Two changes, both about keeping the promises we just made.
Your referral bonus arrives
Invite a friend, they join, you get 100 bonus credits. That promise now works end to end.
The problem was timing. The bonus was handed out the instant an account was created, but that is not really when someone joins. People sign up, then fill in their name and finish setting up their profile. Rewarding too early meant the bonus could slip through the gap.
Now it arrives at the right moment. Your friend opens your link, signs up, completes their profile, and your credits land.
Two smaller things came with it. Your invite counter now counts, so you can see how many of your three invites this week you have used. And your balance shows the full picture, daily credits and bonus credits together, with the bonus called out. Before, a bonus you had earned was easy to miss entirely.
That last one is tiny to build and not tiny at all to experience. A reward you cannot see is barely a reward.
A safer workspace for every employee
The second change is one you should never notice.
Every AI employee works inside its own private workspace, and that workspace now has firmer walls. Your employee still writes files, handles documents, and works exactly as it did before. It simply cannot reach outside its own space anymore.
This matters most on the free tier, where everyone shares the same house. Each account gets a generous storage allowance, and an allowance only means something if it cannot be stepped around. Now it is a real limit, which protects the people who would otherwise pay for someone else's overspill.
If you run your own instance, this is simply tighter security in the background, doing its job without asking anything of you.
Small release, clear point
A free tier has to answer two questions at once. Is it generous enough to be worth your afternoon, and is it solid enough that one person cannot spoil it for everyone else?
This release answers both. You can see what you earned, and your space is genuinely yours.
